"Twitch Aegis" merges the passion of streaming with the power of mental well-being. It's an onboarding program that is a required part of accepting affiliates on Twitch to better prepare streamers in their communities online.
With the lack of mental health information and guidance on Twitch, the platform should provide direction for streamers to empower them to enforce their boundaries and understand that they can be a form of preventative medicine; all to create a healthful supportive community environment.
The main issue I found on Twitch as a streamer and viewer was the lack of information and resources the platform offers on mental health. The result of unresolved issues of parasocial relationships grew immensely during the pandemic. I chose to design a motion graphic and a landing page that focuses on giving streamers the help that they need to succeed,
all of which would be approved by mental health professionals who are on and off the platform. It's guiding creators to grow to become the best versions
of themselves.
